METHODOLOGY

Sun is nearest star to the earth. The distance between earth and the sun varies between 94.5 million miles at Aphelion (July 1) and 91.5 million miles at Perihelion (Jan 1). The distances of the above two dates do not vary much from the average distance of 93 million miles. Nevertheless the amount of radiation received is 7% greater at Perihelion than at Aphelion.

The physical theory of planet earth indicates that earth rotates on its own axis with an inclination of 23.5 degree and completes a cycle once in 24 hours. In addition to its own rotation, in its course of earth journey around the sun, the earth’s axis maintains a nearly constant direction in space making an angle of 66.5 degree with the plan of its orbit. As a result, the angle at which the sunrays strike a point on an earth is also changes.

When earth rotates on its own axis, with an inclination of 23.5 degree, due to unknown reasons, the degree gets tilted during some days and gets back to normal, which activate the molten lava to push the mantle. In other words, the drifting of the inclination angle of the earth and its automatic set right to its original position, activate the platetectonics and the pressurised molten lava tends to puncture the weaker portion of the earth plates causes earth quake and volcanic eruption, which depends upon the crust of the earth where it tends to come out.

So this variation is recorded everyday in a smooth surfaced wall constructed in North/South direction, using sunlight constantly and depending upon the anomaly the disaster place is determined. This is the only method, which simultaneously registered crust deformations too so that small to strong magnitude earthquakes can also to be predicted.

Doing this research since 1996 after inspired by an article in a local daily about Tirupur Dr.T.Anandan's research on the subject.

THIS METHOD IS ALREADY FIELD TESTED FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS CONTINUOUSLY AND THE RESULTS ARE SO ENCOURAGING WITH THE SUCCESS RATE OF 80%. ITS NEED OF TEAM WORK AROUND THE WORLD WHERE THE OBSERVATORY IS GETTING SUN LIGHT CONSTANTLY AND INTERLINK THESE OBSERVATORIES TO FIND OUT THE EPI CENTRE OF EARTHQUAKE ACCURATELY.
